Star-studded names prep for Chef’s Table Fundraiser

One of the most anticipated culinary events every year is the Illumination Foundation’s annual Chef’s Table Fundraiser, typically held at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.

The event features some two dozen chefs from renowned restaurants preparing dinner tableside for 10 guests.

Like most events, the Chef’s Table was canceled last year, but it returns on June 27 at a new location: the private San Juan Capistrano estate of Marc and Jacqueline DuPont-Carlson.

The estate’s 2.5 acres will provide a picturesque outdoor backdrop for a kitchen full of local chefs to bring their extensive culinary chops to life.

Restaurants to be represented include The Blind Rabbit, Toast, Villa Roma/ Cambalache, Trevor’s at the Tracks, The Parkestry at the JW Marriott Anaheim, Haven, Strong Water, Sapphire, Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens and The Ranch.

This year’s event will also feature the skills of Top Chef finalist Amar Santana of Vaca, Broadway and The Hall Global Eatery at South Coast Plaza.

Sponsorship and tickets are still available. Visit IFHomeless.org.
