Bill Gross family foundation donates $23M to 58 nonprofits

The William, Jeff and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation donated nearly $23 million to 58 local and global nonprofits in 2022, the most donated in a single year by a Bill Gross foundation. Several organizations throughout the world were granted more than $1 million, including local organizations Children’s Health of Orange County (CHOC) Pediatric Mental Health Services, which received $2 million, and Orange County Teachers of the Year, which received $1 million. Additional grant recipients in Orange County include The Wooden Floor, Lestonnac Free Clinic, Anaheim Health Fair, American Family Housing, Laguna Beach Community Clinic, Laguna Beach Senior Center, Pacific Marine Mammal Center, Laguna Food Pantry, Laguna Beach Festival of Arts, Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast.

“Many of these organizations are essential to providing relief to those in need, while also nourishing their souls in other ways,” said Bill Gross, co-founder, The William, Jeff & Jennifer Gross Family Foundation, and co-founder, Pimco. “Jennifer, Jeff and I are pleased to donate to organizations helping people during these extraordinarily challenging times.”

The William, Jeff & Jennifer Gross Family Foundation was founded by Pimco co-founder Gross alongside his children, Jeff Gross, a photographer, and Jennifer Gross, who is also co-founder of the Blue Chip Foundation.
