Illumination Foundation Announces New Board Members

Illumination Foundation, a nonprofit with the mission to disrupt the cycle of homelessness, is pleased to announce five distinguished additions to its Board of Directors. Illumination Foundation is celebrating 15 years of providing housing and healthcare to families and individuals experiencing homelessness.

Thomas Duchene, President, TDMS, Inc.

Tom has more than 40 years in the direct marketing industry, serving clients from a wide variety of industries. Tom has built lasting relationships with marketing professionals all over the world. Over the years, Tom has participated in, led, and spoken to many industry and educational groups, including Loyola Graduate School of Business, Direct Marketing Association of Orange County, and the U.S. Postal Service Mailers Technical Advisory Council. He has served on the board and chaired a number of professional trade associations, including Mailing and Fulfillment Services Association, Epicomm, and National Association of Printers and Lithographers, receiving their highest industry award—induction into the Walter E. Soderstrom Society.

Clark Jones, Senior Vice President, Disneyland Resort Finance and Special Events, Disneyland Resort

A 26-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company’s theme park business, Clark leads approximately 110 professional Cast Members in various financial and operational roles that work closely with partners on strategies and plans to further build the Disney brand; establish, implement and maintain Disneyland Resorts financial plans; and provide unique and memorable experiences for Disneyland Resort guests. Prior to Clark’s current position, he served in multiple Vice President roles at Disney. Prior to Disney, he served as Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche. Clark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado and Master of Business Administration at the University of Florida at Gainesville.

Margaret Pfeiffer, RN, MSN, Vice President Clinical Operations, West Coast University and American Career College

Margaret provides clinical placement for over 6,000 students in healthcare programs for both institutions. She was a former hospital executive having served in positions of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer in hospitals throughout Los Angeles County. Margaret has had a long career in acute care settings focused on clinical and financial turnarounds for challenged hospitals. She received her BSN from California State University, Long Beach; MSN from California State University, Los Angeles; and is a 2023 Malcom Baldridge Executive Fellow.

Teresa Razo, CEO and Founder of Cambalache and Villa Roma

Teresa is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and community leader. She is co-founder of Paella with a Purpose and Cocinando Tu Futuro. Teresa has been named OC Restaurateur of the Year, Notable Person by Para Todos, Latina of Influence, received the Minerva Award from the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was named OC Business Women of the Year. She is co-author of the book, “Lead with Success.” Teresa graduated from the University of California, Irvine. She also graduated from the Latina Global Executive Leadership & Entrepreneur Program from USC; completed the Stanford Latin Entrepreneur Leadership Program from Stanford Graduate School of Business; and completed the James Beard Foundation 2019 Women’s Entrepreneur Leadership Program.

Ian O. Williamson, Dean, Paul Merage School of Business, University of California Irvine

Appointed dean of The UCI Paul Merage School of Business on January 1, 2021, Dean Williamson is a globally recognized expert in the area of human resource management. Previously he was the Pro-Vice Chancellor and the Dean of the Wellington School of Business and Government at Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand). Dean Williamson has also served on the faculties of the Melbourne Business School (Australia), Rutgers Business School, the Zurich Institute of Business Education (Switzerland), the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia). He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
